Helen Noonan was a renowned Australian soprano, internationally acclaimed for her solo performance in Chamber Made’s Recital (1989-2005). Helen passed away on 1 July 2016. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and the arts community.

In 2013 Helen recorded an interview with Cynthia Troup at the Meat Market as part of the Chamber Made Opera 25 Years Interview Project.

With her characteristic good humour, generosity, and insight, Helen Noonan illuminates some of her history with Chamber Made, richly recollecting of her roles in The Heiress (1988), Recital (1989), The Cars that Ate Paris(1992), Motherland (2002), and Sweet Death (1991).
