Hui-Qian completed her Master of Arts degree from Sichuan Conservatory of Music in 2014 as a Soprano.

In 2012, she played the leading role in Sichuan Province University Student Arts Festival competition and won the Gold Medal. She also won number of other awards including: Silver Medal in both the Ninth and 10th Chinese Music Golden Bell Award of Sichuan Region; coming fourth nation-wide in the Fourth Ethnic National Vocal Music Dun Huang Award; the Silver Medal in the Fourth Sichuan Province Vocal Music Competition; and the Gold Medal in the Second South West Folk Song Show Competition.
