About

A small boy and a stroke victim share a surreal, distorted reality. The man howls his rage and despair. The boy has a recurring nightmare.

The nightmare centres on a day by a lake, a picnic with his parents and another couple, a disenchanted colleague and his wife. A row erupts… infidelity, and who is the father of the child? One man rows out inthe centre of hte lake. He is seized by a warning stroke, the harbinger of a massive one to follow, and he struggles towards the shore. The others rush to his aid, except for the boy, who stands paralysed.

Described as a musical docu-drama, Stroke was the third production by Chamber Made.
